Innovation is the theme of the 6th annual Indy Big Data Conference. IDC (International Data Corporation) predicts revenue from the sales of big data and business analytics applications, tools, and services will skyrocket more than 50% from nearly $122 billion in 2015 to more than $187 billion in 2019. The biggest innovations in healthcare technology are expected to be IoT, automation, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality as well as wireless 5G, all of which will be showcased at the 2019 Indy Big Data Innovation conference. Forecasters predict that finance, banking, insurance and government are the sectors best poised to substantially profit from innovation in big data. For the remaining sectors, big data is still big business provided teams are recruiting the right talent and mining the correct data to secure the insights they seek.
