Tom Jeppson retired as Vice President of Finance from the Automotive Group of Johnson Controls, Inc. Throughout his career, he served in financial leadership positions with responsibilities for North and South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Mr. Jeppson served in a variety of financial management posts during his 28-year career at the automotive supplier. They included Vice President of Finance – Global Electronics; Vice President of Finance – Global Purchasing; Vice President of Finance – Automotive System Group; North American Controller; Business Unit Controller; Financial Analyst; Plant Controller; and Cost Accountant.
Before joining Johnson Controls in 1982, Jeppson worked in financial positions at United Technologies and Dana Corporation.
Jeppson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University. Additionally, he is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma international honor society.
Currently, Mr. Jeppson volunteers his financial and leadership skills for church, schools and other non-profit organizations, as well as providing independent financial consulting.
