Cohort Approach

When you are part of the IMM Global EMBA program, you interact with managers facing challenges similar to your own. Colleagues have at least five years of work experience and an average of 13-16 years. They come from 8-10 countries around the world representing many different industries and functional areas. 

Global Reach/Local Immersion

In the IMM Global EMBA program, you travel with your cohort to seven countries on four continents. The partnership of business schools around the world lets you experience how business takes place in each location and apply those lessons to your company and your career.

Purdue University was established in 1869 and is a well-known world-class research institution. Enrollment at the main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana, regularly tops 40,000 students each year.

Purdue's Executive Education Programs are part of the Krannert Schhol of Management, which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2017.

Purdue alumni have achieved recognition in a range of areas: in 2010 Bloomberg revealed that Purdue was one of the universities in America with the most undergraduate alumni serving as chief executive officers of Standard & Poor's 500 firms, including McDonald's Corporation, John Deere, and United Technologies. Purdue alumni include former Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, and no less than 23 astronauts including Neil Armstrong and Eugene Cernan.

TIAS is a business school with deep academic roots that forms an integral part of Tilburg University and Eindhoven University of Technology, right in the heart of everyday society. Tianjin University, founded in 1895 as Peiyang University, is the first modern university in China. The College of Management and Economics was among the first authorized management schools by the Ministry of Education in China in 1984.

Founded in 1944, FGV is a private, free-standing, non-profit institution, dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and the dissemination of knowledge in the fields of business, economics, social sciences, and law.

FGV has significantly contributed to Brazil’s social and economic development during the past decades by publishing economic rates and figures: the Revista de Administração Pública (Public Administration Magazine), printed bimonthly, with high circulation in the technical-scientific sector, has been edited by FGV since 1967. FGV has been selected by The Economist as one of the most important think tanks in the world, and is ranked by the Financial Times in the top 100 business schools in the world.

Politecnico di Milano is the most outstanding technical university in Italy. Founded in 1863, Politecnico di Milano, or MIP, has two main campuses in Milan, five campuses in northern Italy, and a campus in China. The MIP Graduate School of Business, founded in 1979, joined the IMM program as a partner in spring 2017, and brings to the program expertise in the intersection between technology, management and policy.

Flexible Schedule for Working Executives

The IMM Global EMBA is divided into a five-day launch week in the U.S. plus five two-week residencies spanning only 19 months. Between modules, students use online technology to prepare assignments, engage in discussions, work in teams, read eBooks, and watch instructor-prepared videos.

Two MBA Degrees

When you complete the program, you will receive two master's degrees: an MBA from Purdue and an MBA from TIAS School for Business and Society at Tilburg University in The Netherlands. The program is accredited by the AACSB International (Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business).

What does "IMM" stand for?

When this program was first created, it awarded graduates an International Master's in Management degree -- hence the acronym "IMM." The program has evolved and now awards an international Master in Business Administration degree. We decided to keep the recognizable IMM program name.
