Outstanding Commercialization Award for Purdue Faculty (2007)

In recognition for his role in the development of the Synthetic Environments for Analysis and Simulation (SEAS) technology, which seeks to explain how governments, companies, organizations and the public respond to certain situations, including terrorism. The award honors the recipients for their discoveries that have resulted, or may soon result, in commercial applications that benefit society.

Federal 100 (2007)

Awarded to top executives from government, industry and academia who had the greatest impact on the government information systems community in 2006.

Sagamore of the Wabash (2005)

Awarded by the Governor of Indiana for his services to the State of Indiana. Sagamore of the Wabash is the highest civilian award in the State of Indiana.

2005 National Training and Simulation Association's (NTSA)

Award for best Simulation for Analysis in all of Department of Defense for Synthetic Environments for Analysis and Simulation (SEAS).


SEAS featured in a National Science Foundation report as a success story of taking a fundamental research to wide acceptance within the Department of Defense.
