Amy David joined the faculty of Krannert School of Management in August, 2014. She is the Faculty Director of the MS Global Supply Chain Management program and teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in the Operations Management area. In addition, Dr. David supervises experiential learning projects that provide an opportunity for students to engage with partnering companies to solve managerial issues.
Dr. David's work spans her time in both industry and academia, and is focused on knowledge areas including:
- Supply chain management under uncertainty
- Supply chain technology and ERP Systems
- Supply chain contracting
- Lean manufacturing
Previously, Dr. David worked as a Logistics Planning and Process Development Manager for USG and a Logistics Analyst for Medline Industries. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and a BS in General Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
