Purdue's Krannet School launches online analtyics degree

Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management will begin offering an online Master’s in Business Analytics in fall 2020. The degree is aimed at working professionals. Students will receive broad exposure to various functional areas of business and how they use information to make better-informed decisions. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the need for business analysts to increase 14% by 2024, and this degree will prepare participants for a wide variety of roles within the industry. More

Purdue offers combined degree program in human resources

Beginning in fall 2020, the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and Krannert School of Management are teaming to offer a combined degree program, with students earning an undergraduate degree in human resource development (HRD) and a master’s degree in human resource management (MSHRM). Students will begin pursuing their master’s degree while completing undergraduate work, providing the ability to earn the degrees at reduced cost and in less time. More

Krannert welcomes new professional staffers and center directors

Krannert recently welcomed two new members to its professional staff as well as new directors for a pair of student outreach and engagement centers. Sue Doron joined Krannert as executive director of marketing and communications and chief marketing officer; Steve Shelby was hired as director of the Larsen Leader Academy; Cara Giese was appointed chief development officer; and Dr. Meara Habashi was named director of the Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Management. ‘The Next Giant Leap’: Purdue unveils evolved brand

Purdue University is rolling out an evolved brand to further unify how the Purdue story is told by the campus community, focused on Boilermaker determination and achievements toward building a better world together.  The University officially launched the new brand platform — “The Next Giant Leap” — on Jan. 30. Gift from Krannert alumnus and his wife will support technology to treat millions with obesity, diabetes

A significant investment from a Purdue University alumnus and his wife will help further develop technology aimed at treating obesity and diabetes by turning bad fat into good fat inside the body. David Campbell, a 1978 graduate from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management, and his wife, Michelle, are residents of Old Hickory, Tennessee. They have committed the support to Adipo Therapeutics LLC, a Purdue-based startup that is developing a unique treatment approach for people struggling with obesity and diabetes. More

Ellen Kossek receives Fulbright Specialist Award to United Kingdom at Cranfield University

Purdue receives international association’s top economic prosperity, innovation award

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) has named Purdue University as a top award recipient of its 2019 Innovation & Economic Prosperity Place award. The award follows a 2019 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report that Tippecanoe County rose to the highest growing income in the nation with the largest fourth-quarter wage gain in 2018. More
