Krannert executive MBAs among world's best
Based on the results of 163 surveys received from directors of leadership and executive development at companies internationally, Krannert’s executive MBA degree program placed 18th worldwide in rankings released in October by BusinessWeek.
“The top 20 worldwide ranking is a confirmation of our commitment to provide a high-quality option for students to earn an MBA without an interruption in their careers,” says Krannert Dean and Leeds Professor of Management Rick Cosier. “Our executive MBA is a tremendous option for active managers. It offers a high-quality education that meshes with the schedules of individuals and their companies.”
Wilbur G. “Bill” Lewellen, academic director of Krannert’s Executive Education Programs (KEEP) and Herman C. Krannert Distinguished Professor of Management, says the BusinessWeek ranking recognizes Purdue’s continuing commitment to combining on-campus and online education.
“Our program has been a model for other executive programs for years,” Lewellen says. “We believe in solid coursework that provides smart, busy people with flexible options to further their careers and provide leadership in their companies and organizations.”\
KEEP offers an executive MBA, an international master’s in management, and a weekend MBA program through a combination of distance-learning and part-time residence on campus.
Also offered are specialized non-degree programs in areas such as engineering management, veterinary management, and the new life sciences information technology project management certificate, both at the West Lafayette campus and at corporate training facilities.
