The Krannert Professional Development Center (KPDC) serves as a comprehensive career resource for students, recruiters, and alumni. Career Coaches within KPDC provide individualized counseling, job search resources, and on-campus recruiting opportunities. We take great pride in matching our students with careers worldwide.
Students have access to career services from day one at Purdue and through graduation and as they advance in their career. Employers enjoy visiting campus to meet, interview, and mentor our well-rounded and talented students. They take part in on-campus recruiting and career fairs, and sponsor activities such as student coffee hours, workshops, information sessions, and much more. We pride our relationship with alumni. Our alumni contact us as recruiters wanting to connect with Purdue students, as job seekers looking for career strategy advice and as enthusiastic Boilermakers willing to mentor the next generation of global business leaders at Krannert.
More than 130 companies come to career fairs each fall and spring to meet Krannert students. Students are encouraged to attend other campus career fairs as well. Throughout the course of the year, the Krannert Professional Development Center will help students prepare for networking and interviewing opportunities through a variety of activities and events. As Dean David Hummels explains in the Krannert Annual Report, these experiences give our students the skills needed to gain employment with top companies, as shown in our placement statistics.
