Krannert is uniquely positioned alongside a globally renowned STEM school inside a dynamic corporate partnership R&D community. Our students are immersed in a highly collaborative, workmanlike culture that has produced leaders of some of the largest companies in the world.

The curriculum at Krannert draws on rigorous quantitative analysis and information technology as the foundation of our program is based on providing superior analytical insight to produce global leaders.

The Krannert School of Management will begin offering a STEM-designated Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree option this fall for students in four specialization areas: business analytics and information management, finance, global supply chain management or marketing.  The degree will provide an immersive set of quantitative classes grounded in statistics, computer applications and data analysis, along with core business classes that will develop students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.
The MBA will join Krannert’s four existing STEM-designated graduate degree programs:  Master of Finance, Master of Marketing, Master of Business Analytics and Information Management, and the Master of Global Supply Chain Management.
How will the STEM-designation benefit our corporate employers?  The STEM-designation will provide international students the opportunity to receive three years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) without H1B visa sponsorship.  Graduates with a STEM-designated degree may apply for a 24-month extension of their post-completion optional practical training (OPT), which is not typically offered through non STEM degrees.
