Shubhda graduated from National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Haryana in India in 2017 with a Bachelors of Technology degree. She majored in Food Technology and minored in General Management. She was among the merit scholars in her cohort and was attended the student exchange program at University of Saskatchewan, Canada. She had 3 internships in different organizations during her undergraduate studies where she gained valuable organizational work experience.
During her internship at Food Safety Standards Authority of India, which is the apex food regulatory body in India, Shubhda was exposed to a large amount of data during her project “Street Food Vendors Training Program”, in which she managed data on training programs, vendor assessments and certification. She handled data of 23,000 food vendors using primarily excel which opened the power of analytics to her.
After obtaining her Master’s of Sciences in Business Analytics and Information Management, she intends to use numbers to facilitate data-driven decision making to cater to real world business problems. Further, she wishes to delve into resource and supply chain optimization techniques which she thinks are important not just to increase in profits but also, because it leads the organizations to make responsible decisions. Two to three decades in the future, she wants to work for the betterment of the society and use her analytical knowledge in the areas of food sufficiency, disaster management and other common catastrophes in the world.
