Noel S Paul named Executive Director of Krannert School’s Professional Development Center

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Noel S Paul, a two-time Purdue graduate with more than 30 years of corporate experience, has been named Executive Director of the Krannert Professional Development Center (KPDC), which provides career services and leadership development programs to students and alumni across all programs in the Krannert School of Management.
Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1989 and an Executive MBA in 2000, both from Purdue. He replaces Randall Lewis, who returned to private industry as managing director of the venture firm Cleveland Avenue. Paul joined Krannert on a part-time basis May 26 and will begin in a full-time capacity on July 1.
Paul’s corporate experience included roles in engineering, human resource management and corporate responsibility. He was global program leader for international MBA recruiting for Eli Lilly and Company and global leader for corporate responsibility with Elanco Animal Health, heading the company’s efforts to create a food-secure world. In 2018, Paul founded Tiger Careers, a career coaching and consulting firm in Indianapolis.
“This is like coming back home for me,” says Paul, who has worked with the Purdue Foundry and as a career coach for Krannert Executive Education Programs. “This role gives me the opportunity to live out my passion for career coaching and development at a place where I have a deep personal connection. I look forward to being part of creating a transformative experience for students and employers that will help take Krannert to the next level.”

The Krannert Professional Development Center serves as a comprehensive career resource for students, employers and alumni. It hosts career fairs and sponsors student-centered workshops, coffee hours and information sessions. A full-time staff of 11 and three part-time advisors-in-residence help prepare students for networking and interviewing opportunities, matching them with careers worldwide.
