Thursday, May 27, 2021

A total of 16 Purdue Krannert student-athletes have been named Academic All-Big Ten for the spring sports season in 2021. This is part of the University's record of 92 Purdue student-athletes.

Purdue University's spring total, along with 68 honorees in the winter and a record 96 from the fall, gave Purdue its most Academic All-Big Ten recipients in department history with 256, smashing the 2019-20 record of 234.

Samara Miller of women's track & field and 2020 MS Human Resources Management alumna achieved the rare feat of being named Academic All-Big Ten four times.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten, student-athletes must be enrolled full-time at their university for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
