Professor Prabuddha De recognized by Academy of Management

Professor De co-authors award-winning paper

Prabuddha De, Accenture Professor of Information Technology, was one of three co-authors cited for research by the Academy of Management at its annual conference, held in Philadelphia. De teamed with Jungpil Hahn and Chen Zhang to publish “Continued Participation in Online Innovation Communities: Does Community Response Matter Equally for Everyone?” The paper appeared in the journal Information Systems Research in 2013, and was selected as the best published paper of 2013 by the Organizational Communication & Information Systems division of the Academy of Management.

Hahn, a former Krannert School faculty member, is an associate professor of information systems at National University in Singapore. Zhang earned a doctorate from Purdue and is an associate professor at the University of Memphis.

It’s just another example of Purdue’s Krannert School pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
