  • Purdue’s School of Management launches Dean V. White Real Estate Finance Program
    WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University’s School of Management formally announced the Dean V. White Real Estate Finance Program on Friday (April 22) at its 2022 Krannert Alumni Awards Celebration Dinner. The new program, named in memory of the late Indiana entrepreneur in recognition of a $20.8 million pledge from the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation, was approved on April 8 by Purdue trustees. The gift is the largest monetary contribution ever made to the School of Management.

    Xuewen Yu, a PhD student in economics at the Krannert School of Management, received the 2021 Denis Sargan Econometrics Prize, awarded by The Econometrics Journal for the best (unsolicited) article published in the journal by anyone who is within five years of receiving their doctorate. Yu co-authored the paper “General forecast averaging in autoregressions with a near unit root” with Professor Mohitosh Kejriwal.
