The program is open to Purdue undergraduate students with a 2.5 GPA who have successfully completed STAT 225, 311, 416 or 516.

Course Credits:

MGMT 36100 Operations Management & MGMT 390 International Elective for 6 credits.

Students will stay in shared student apartments or residence housing in Rome.

Course Descriptions

Operations Management - MGMT 36100

This course provides an understanding of the issues involved in designing and managing manufacturing and service systems. Topics include manufacturing strategy, quality management, inventory systems, aggregate planning, just-in-time manufacturing, and operations scheduling. Case studies, on site visits in Rome, and articles integrate these topics and highlight managerial implications. 

MGMT 39000 - International Elective

This course will be taught be on site local faculty. Course title and content is TBD until further notice.
