Many
young adults envision themselves as leaders, CEOs, and
corporate presidents. Those dreams don't just require
ability. They require persistence, financial means...and
a chance. For more than 30 years the Business Opportunity
Program (BOP) at Purdue's Krannert School of Management
has helped hundreds of students achieve their dreams.
BOP offers you many
advantages, including:
Scholarships,
fellowships, and summer internships
Academic
and social mentoring provided by
graduate
students
An
eight-week BOP summer session of 11 semester
hours
to jumpstart your first year of management
studies
Educational
presentations by BOP alumni and other
corporate
representatives
Career
networking through the Society for Minority
Managers
(SMM) and other student organizations
BOP is under the direction of Darren L. Henry in Purdue's Krannert School of Management. Admissions
decisions to BOP are made based upon academic achievements
and financial need of disadvantaged students (students
who have overcome social barriers and other obstacles
in their education and lives) with the goal of creating
a diverse student body.
