Center for Behavioral Economics, Experiments and Public Policy faculty affiliates conduct applied research in the emerging field of behavioral economics.
Examples of applied research include experimental interventions to improve students’ academic performance; quantifying the effect of school spending on cognitive skills; comparisons of market and non-market mechanisms to achieve specific social goals such as pollution reduction and promotion of research and development; and evaluating the effectiveness of health, education and environmental improvement programs implemented in developing and advanced economies.
