wThe BOP Summer Session is for incoming freshmen seeking a business degree from the School of Management.  The rigorous eight-week Summer Session coincides with summer school and begins in June.  Students take introductory business courses that all count toward graduation and prepare them for the challege of their Freshman year.  Students live together on the same floor of a residence hall, get acquainted with campus culture, and learn about the available resources on campus that can help them succeed in the School of Management. The relaxed summer atmosphere gives students the chance to acclimate to campus and college life early, thus, assisting the transition from high school to college.

Most students receive a renewable scholarship upon the completion of the Summer Session.  Combining the jumpstart to college with the renewable scholarship, participating in the Summer Session provides students with an option to graduate early and save on housing and tuition costs during their time at Purdue.  Aside from the academic, financial, and professional development opportunities tied to the Summer Session, students have tons of fun!  Students enjoy the benefits of college life throughout the summer and create many life-long memories and best friends over the eight-week period.

WHY BOP? (click for top ten reasons)

Throughout the year, BOP hosts corporate recruiters, top-level executives, entrepreneurs, alumni, community leaders, and other individuals serving as student role models.  These individuals share their experiences with students and the information and advice given has been a unique and valuable addition to BOP students' professional development.

aBOP provides on-boarding assistance for incoming MBA students to prepare for their first module of b-school, and assist with the transition from the workforce back into the classroom.  Career opportunities exist for some students through the Krannert School of Management's partnership with Management Leadership for Tomorrow and BOP's partnership with MBA Jumpstart.  BOP supports MBA students through graduate assistantships and scholarships, case competition sponsorship, in addition to funding to attend MBA conferences.  Plenty of networking opportunities exist with alumni and corporate partners.  Given the aforementioned, world-renown faculty, up-to-date curriculum, and notable employers such as Amazon, Bank of America, ExxonMobil, Deloitte Consulting, Intel, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, and Shell, the return on investment from a Krannert MBA is tough to beat.
