Jeff Ello is a tech strategist and a force for innovation at Purdue. He directs the efforts of the Krannert Computing Center's highly regarded Client Services group, covering IT infrastructure, help desk, media and procurement.
For 30 years, Jeff has made a career of predicting and planning for technologies before they arrive, leading the charge toward more effective, efficient strategies. He is the is the originator of "Studio 1", later branded "Video Express", a campus wide self-service green-screen video production studio for academic content creation. His latest creation is the ARCC (Academic & Research Computing Cloud), a new virtual infrastructure that sets the bar of flexibilty, performance and cost.
