Science and Research Opportunities in India (Sci-ROI) is hosting the VIRTUAL 2020 annual event, which kicks off this Saturday, September 12th with sessions continuing over two full weekends (September 12th-13th & 19th-20th). Building on past years’ successes, the 5th annual event aims to introduce a diverse range of post-Ph.D. career options in India to participants. The target audience is those who are currently engaged in research activities outside India (primarily the United States). A great line-up of speakers discussing traditional career paths in academia and industry is accompanied this year with speakers discussing careers in tech entrepreneurship, research management, science communication, science policy, and patent law. The $20 registration for the Sci-ROI event also includes access to Virtual Recruitment Week (October 26 - November 1). This part of the program is instrumental in helping individuals (with at least a Master’s degree) who are actively seeking employment opportunities in India! 15+ recruiters will be conducting 1-on-1 interviews for qualifying applicants, and we anticipate that number increasing.
